02 Your Gas and Operating Conditions

What to Send
Group the data by stage and operating case.
- Gas composition and variation, corrosiveness, moisture, particles, tar, polymers and liquid carryover
- Stage suction and discharge pressures and temperatures, flow, speed range, capacity control and start-up or shutdown conditions
- Lubricated or nonlubricated operation, oil type and feed rate, filtration, gas-liquid separation and existing failure records
Units and Reference Conditions
Say whether pressure is absolute or gauge, and give the flow reference, stage, load and operating case. Mark which values are measured, design, estimated or from abnormal operation, and keep normal, start-up, shutdown and variable-load conditions separate.
